The French Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Authority (ASNR), bringing together over 1,800 engineers, researchers, doctors, agronomists, veterinarians, and skilled technicians, was looking for a Market Intelligence solution to monitor developments in nuclear safety, radiation protection, and the control of nuclear and sensitive materials.
The main objective was to identify the right information in order to share it with an internal network of subject-matter experts.
Launched in 2008, ASNR’s intelligence initiative was built around the Target by ChapsVision tool. The Market Intelligence platform addressed the challenges of information overload caused by big data.
Beyond identifying relevant and reliable data related to their core business needs, the platform enables the processing of large volumes of information in various formats (texts, images, videos, podcasts, event calendars, tweets…) sourced from across the web, social networks, blogs, and specialized databases.
In 2021, ASNR’s intelligence team took on a new challenge: democratizing Market Intelligence by broadening the internal user base. The TopicShare module enabled real-time sharing of industry ecosystem trends with ASNR’s internal network of 1,800 specialists, supporting both daily decision-making and long-term strategic insight.
Main features include:
- Subscription to alerts and thematic newsletters
- Access to business-specific dashboards
- A collaborative space enabling real-time interaction among experts: article comments, ratings, recommendations
- Validation of key articles and enrichment of news with alternative sources beyond those collected by Target by ChapsVision
“ChapsVision helped ASNR democratize our intelligence activity by expanding it to a broader community of internal users. The TopicShare portal allows everyone to access the output of our monitoring work—newsletters, reports, dashboards—without requiring any technical skills. It is intuitive and suitable for all user profiles.”
