RIFT and ChapsVision join forces on sovereign aerial intelligence

By integrating ChapsVision’s sovereign technologies into its French-designed and manufactured platforms, Rift expands its long-range drone intelligence offering to meet the security requirements of authorised European agencies.

PARIS, September 23, 2026:  Rift, the French deeptech company specialising in on-demand aerial intelligence, today announced a strategic partnership with ChapsVision, a European leader in data intelligence and agentic AI.

The collaboration integrates ChapsVision’s communication signal detection, tracking, and analysis technologies into Rift’s long-range drone fleet, strengthening its detection, data fusion, and operational capabilities.

A sovereign response to security and resilience challenges

Faced with escalating threats and increasingly complex operational environments, state agencies need real-time intelligence tools that deliver actionable insights within a strictly controlled, sovereign framework.

Critical applications range from border control and infrastructure protection to wildfire monitoring, disaster response, maritime surveillance, and military site defence.

To address these critical security demands while preserving European digital independence, Rift is drawing on ChapsVision’s expertise in helping public institutions and enterprises navigate sensitive operational decisions.

ChapsVision, which is headquartered at Suresnes, near Paris, converts vast, complex datasets into precise, actionable intelligence using controlled, specialised AI.

Rift designs, builds, and operates its complete technology stack in France, including long-endurance vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drones, autonomous deployment stations, and its proprietary software platform, RIFTOS.

Integrating ChapsVision’s suite advances Rift’s mission to establish Europe’s premier sovereign aerial intelligence network, capable of conducting remote surveillance and supporting operations across high-risk or inaccessible areas without relying on non-European suppliers.

Enhancing intelligence operations through tech integration

Complementing its existing optical and video capabilities, Rift is mounting ChapsVision’s communication signal detection, localisation, and analysis hardware directly onto its drones.

This multi-sensor synergy provides authorised agencies with a complete operational picture by pairing signal intelligence with aerial imagery, generating automated alerts, and feeding seamlessly into existing command-and-control systems.

All data collected by Rift platforms will be transmitted directly to and managed exclusively by competent state authorities within sovereign boundaries.
